Business, corporate and individual contributions are permissible.  Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.  Contributions to Sojka for Mayor 2010 (FPPC ID# 1325549) are limited to $1000 per person ($2,000 per couple per election) per Campaign Finance Ordinance 4395.  A husband and wife may make a contribution from a joint checking account in an amount of up to $2,000 if both spouses sign the check, or if each sends a separate check.
